DESCRIPTION
 
  Omega 2K™ 840 Series is a Low VOC 2K Polyurethane that may be used as a high gloss topcoat or clearcoated, making it a 2K polyurethane basecoat. Omega 2K™ was formulated to meet both 3.5 and National Rule VOC regulations depending on reducer selection. Omega 2K™ devolops unmatched gloss, D.O.I., and exhibits outstanding gloss retention as a topcoat while offering productive tape and topcoat times as a basecoat. Omega 2K™ may be clear-coated with a variety of Valspar Refinish clearcoats including AC-4400, AC-2135, AG-350, AC-200MS, and AC-355.

MIXING RATIO
 
  Mix three (3) parts Omega 2K™ 840 Color with one (1) part HPC007/HPC1/HPC2 Activator. (3:1)
If desired, reduce up to 10% with X-01, X-02 or 170 series reducers. (Check local VOC regulations)
For Basecoat, up to 4 oz. T566 may be added per mixed gallon.

SURFACE PREPARATION

* Finish sand with 360 grit dry sandpaper or equivalent.
* Mask vehicle thoroughly, if doing panel repair.

  Before using any Valspar Refinish product, be sure to read all MSDS and application instructions and warnings. Always wear a properly fitted air purifying respirator with organic vapor cartridges and particulate filter or a fresh air respirator(depending on product selection), eye protection, gloves and protective clothing during application and until vapors are exhausted. Do not permit anyone without protection in the painting area. This product is intended for use by a professionally trained painter.
